Twinspot Goby

The Twinspot Goby is also referred to as the Two Spot Goby, Signal Goby, or Crabeye Goby. The head and body are white splattered with orange markings. Its erect dorsal fins are distinctly marked by eyespots.  When the Signal Goby sits with its dorsal fins erect the spots on its fins create the illusion of a much larger fish and help to ward off predators. This goby likes to work together in pairs, and will even spawn in the aquarium. One alone usually gets lonely and groups will often fight, unless introduced to a large aquarium. They are rarely aggressive towards other fish, and will do best in a reef aquarium with other passive fishes.
