The Yellow Angelfish, also known as the False Lemonpeel Angelfish, hails from the Cook Islands and boasts a vibrant yellow coloration. It closely resembles the Lemonpeel Angelfish, except for the presence of blue markings around the eyes and fin edges.

To accommodate the Yellow Angelfish, a spacious aquarium of at least 70 gallons is required. It should provide ample hiding spots and abundant live rock for the fish to graze on. When kept in a reef aquarium, this species may exhibit some nipping behavior towards large-polyped stony corals, certain soft coral polyps, and clam mantles.

In terms of diet, the Yellow Angelfish should be offered a well-rounded selection of food. This includes Spirulina, marine algae, high-quality angelfish preparations, mysis or frozen shrimp, and other meaty items. Providing a varied and nutritious diet is essential for their overall health and well-being.
