Jewel Damsel

During its juvenile stage, the Jewel Damselfish, commonly known as Jewelfish, displays a black hue adorned with shimmering blue dots. As it advances in age, its coloration may shift to shades of brown or yellow, accompanied by less pronounced and smaller spots.

Notably aggressive, it is recommended to house only one Jewel Damselfish per tank. An aquarium with a capacity of 50 gallons or more is ideal for providing suitable living conditions.

In terms of diet, the Jewel Damselfish consumes a diverse range of foods, including meaty items, herbivore preparations, and flaked foods.
