The Black Nox Angelfish, also known as the Midnight Angelfish, boasts a striking, all-black body. To provide it with a suitable habitat, a tank of at least 70 gallons is recommended, replete with numerous hiding spots. It's essential to note that the Black Nox Angelfish should be the sole dwarf angelfish resident in the tank, as it doesn't coexist well with others. Additionally, this species isn't ideally suited for reef environments and may consume soft coral polyps, clam mantles, and zoanthids.

Breeding the Black Nox Angelfish in an aquarium proves to be a formidable challenge, and distinguishing between males and females based on coloration is nearly impossible.

In terms of dietary requirements, the Black Nox Angelfish thrives on a varied menu that includes Spirulina, marine algae, mysis shrimp, and other meaty offerings. Providing live rock for grazing can also contribute to its well-being.
