The Two-colored Blenny, also known as the Bicolor Blenny, is a fish with an interesting appearance. As the name suggests, the anterior half of the body is blue to brown while the posterior half is orange. During breeding, males experience color changes, including blue. These fish have a lot of personality and are great additions to aquariums.

In the wild, the Bicolor Blenny can be found among rocks and crevices on the bottom of its environment. In captivity, it needs at least a 30-gallon tank with scattered rocks for hiding and perching.

Bicolor Blennies are usually peaceful tank mates, but they may pick at other blennies, smaller gobies, and dartfish. They can make good additions to reef aquariums, but caution is advised with smaller set-ups or smaller fleshy corals, as they may pick at the mantles of clams and fleshy large polyp stony corals when underfed. However, in larger reef aquariums, they rarely cause damage to these corals or clams.

Bicolor Blennies should be fed a diet that includes vegetable matter such as marine and blue-green algae found in frozen and dried foods. They also feed on and help control algae growing in the aquarium.
