The Skunk-striped Anemonefish, also known as the Captive-Bred Orange Skunk Clownfish, boasts a pale orange body with a single white stripe that extends from the head to the tail. To ensure their comfort, it is recommended that they be housed in a 30-gallon or larger aquarium with numerous hiding places. While it is preferable to provide them with an anemone host like Stichodactyla mertensii or Heteractis crispa, it is not necessary. The Captive-Bred Orange Skunk Clownfish, like all other captive-bred clownfish, is extremely resilient, making them an excellent choice for both novice and experienced aquarists. This particular variety of clownfish is also suitable for a reef aquarium. When introduced to the aquarium at the same time, several species of tank-bred clownfish can be housed together.

In the home aquarium, captive-bred clownfish, including the Captive-Bred Orange Skunk Clownfish, are simple to breed. The female is generally the larger of the pair, and the two fish will frequently stay close to each other in the aquarium. These fish lay eggs on a flat surface and protect them from other tank mates. The eggs will hatch in 6-11 days, depending on the water temperature. The fry must be raised in a separate aquarium and fed a diet of rotifers followed by baby brine shrimp.

To sustain the Captive-Bred Orange Skunk Clownfish, a variety of meaty foods such as chopped shrimp and frozen herbivore preparations should be included in their diet.
