The Cave Transparent Goby, also known as the Bridled Goby, originates from the vibrant reefs of the Maldives and Fiji, where it can often be found among both hard and soft corals. Its unique name stems from its translucent appearance, with the body adorned by orange spots, adding to its charm.

When introducing the Transparent Goby into the aquarium, it can coexist with various other captive-bred gobies if they are added simultaneously.

For its ideal habitat, a 10-gallon or larger aquarium with branching coral is preferred. While it rarely exhibits aggression towards other fish, it may engage in territorial disputes with its own kind in smaller tanks. Therefore, it is best to keep this goby with other docile species.

Feeding the Transparent Goby should consist of a diverse diet, including brine shrimp, frozen mysis shrimp, table shrimp, and frozen food preparations for carnivores. If housed in a reef aquarium with live branching corals, a once-daily feeding should suffice. However, in an aquarium without substrate, multiple feedings per day will be necessary to meet its dietary needs.
