The Red Neon Eviota Goby is native to the reefs of Cebu and is a prized discovery in the aquarium industry due to its rarity. Active and peaceful, they prove to be a delightful addition to both saltwater reef and fish-only aquariums.
Providing an optimal environment, a 10-gallon or larger aquarium with ample live rock for hiding and as a supplemental food source is recommended. While they do better in small groups or pairs, it's essential to introduce them simultaneously into the tank. It's best to avoid housing these gobies with larger, aggressive fish or invertebrates to ensure their well-being.
