The One Spot Foxface, known for its grace and elegance, is distinguished by a prominent "eyespot" on its body. This unique feature sets it apart from the Foxface Lo, with the eyespot varying in shape from a symmetrical circle to a more free-form blotch, giving each fish a distinct and individual appearance.

To ensure the well-being of the One Spot Foxface, provide it with a spacious 70-gallon or larger aquarium. Generally peaceful, this species may exhibit aggression only when housed with other rabbitfish. However, it can coexist with more aggressive fish due to its venomous dorsal spines, which act as a deterrent against predators and aggressors. When properly fed, rabbitfish like the One Spot Foxface are considered reef-safe. However, insufficient nourishment might lead to nipping or consumption of certain species of LPS and soft coral polyps.

The diet of the One Spot Foxface should consist of a variety of fresh vegetables and algae. Offering prepared herbivore foods that are rich in vegetable matter and supplementing the diet with algae sheets can help minimize potential damage to soft and hard coral polyps caused by nipping. By providing a balanced and suitable diet, you can support the health and beauty of the One Spot Foxface in your aquarium.
