Red V-Tail Grouper (Cephalopholis urodeta)

The Red Flag Grouper, also known as the Flagtail Grouper, Darkfin Hind, Banded-tail Coral-cod, and V-tail Grouper, boasts a vibrant red body, occasionally adorned with white mottling. Notably, the caudal fin features two white stripes that create a distinct "V" pattern.

To accommodate its size and feeding behavior, a spacious aquarium of at least 180 gallons is essential. Recognized for its extreme aggressiveness, this fish may consume both tank mates and crustaceans.

In terms of diet, the Red Flag Grouper shows a preference for meaty fare, including krill, shrimp, and other small fish.
